Text of Ayat ul-Kursi (Arabic Text)
اللّٰهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ وَلَا يَؤُدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ۔
Translation of Ayat al Kursi
“Allah is He, besides whom there is no god, the Living, the Sustainer, neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. They cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except as He wills. His throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and their protection is not burdensome to Him. And He is the Exalted, the Most High.”

“Al-Hayy” means that He is always alive.

5. Who is He who can intercede with Him except by His permission

6. He knows what is between their hands and what is behind them
Allah knows everything, the past, the present, the future — nothing is beyond His knowledge.
7. Vast is His throne over the heavens and the earth

8. And He does not make it difficult for Him to preserve them
Protecting the heavens and the earth is not a difficult task for Allah. He preserves everything with ease.
9. And He is the Most High, the Most Great
